Tour description

DAILY TOUR TO ANTIKYRA. Starting our tour from our offices, we will cross Boeotia through provincial roads, visiting two historical landmarks of the area. We will have lunch at the picturesque coastal village of Antikyra, and return to Athens following the same route until the village of Aliartos and then using the National road.

  • Battle of Leuctra. A very importan battle of 371 B.C. between Thebes and Sparta. This battle marked the end of the Spartan dominance.
  • Distomo massacre memorial. A monument for one of the most brutal massacre by Nazi Occupation forces against women and children of the village of Distomo in 1944
