- Panathenaic Stadium: Entirely built by marble, it is the Stadium that hosted the rebirth of the Olympic Games in 1896. Served as a sports venue in the 2004 Athens’ Olympic Games and is the Finishing point of the “Classical Marathon” each year.
- Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center: The brand new ( completed 2016 ) complex in the Faliro Bay area, hosts the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera.
- Vouliagmeni Lake: A lagoon formed 2000 years ago, with multiple underwater caves, that has not been fully explored yet.
- Poseidon Temple in Sounio: Temple dedicated to the ancient Sea God. Rebuilt after the defeat of the Persian fleet by the Greeks in 480 BC. One of the monuments of “The Golden Age of Periklis”, a statesman that also rebuilt the Acropolis of Athens.
